Designed for small office or small department paper shredding, this model allows for volume document and CD / DVD destruction with an extra large 38 Gal. waste capacity bin.
Like all new models in this line-up of paper shredders, Dahle's new CleanTEC Air Filtration system filters out and captures fine dust particles from shredding for a cleaner office environment.
Safety also continues to be a top priority with the Safe Technology Package that allows for overload monitoring and "Stop" voice command for emergency shut down. The 12" feed opening is reinforced with steel and is only large enough to accept paper / multimedia and includes a sensor which shuts off the unit if fingers get too close to the opening.
Like an performance office equipment or machine, your shredder needs to be properly oiled to remain at peak performance. This unit comes with the EvenFlow automatic oiler system which lubricates the shredding cylinder heads while in use. Using the proper certified Dahle shredder oil also means the cutting head is continuously cleaned and debris is removed while it works.
